OHF Sylvan Lake May Long-Weekend Food Drive A Big Success & Still Collecting!

The OHF is thrilled at the amazing success of their OHF food drive for the Sylvan Lake Food Bank. Thanks to everyone for your incredible generosity that’s continuing to flow into the OHF! Donations to the OHF for this May Long-Weekend Event will go to the Sylvan Lake Food Bank. Special thanks to our OHF Committee Members Oje Hart and TRAPPED owners Darcy, Kelly for helping collect food items as well as Mr. & Mrs. Pat Garritty and their Trilliant Real Estate Group for partnering with the OHF for this great cause. Creating Hope & Support In A Global Crisis!Sylvan Lake Community Partners is seeking Monetary donations to help meet needs in the Community and surrounding area that are a result of difficulties arising from COVID-19, the pandemic and the isolation.

Community Partners has remained available to meet needs during this trying time.

INFANT/TODDLER FOOD BANKPlease come to get Food and Supplies for infants and toddlers: formula, diapers, wipes, baby food and cereals.

COMPASSION FUNDA Collaborative fund that offers financial assistance to those in the community of Sylvan Lake and the surrounding area that are having difficulties meeting some of their expenses as a result of COVID 19. Some guidelines apply.

HYGIENE BAGSPersonal items such as shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, shavers, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other personal items are given when requested/needed.

MEDI – LENDA medical equipment loan service for those needing temporary use of equipment such as crutches, wheelchairs, canes, walkers, shower chairs, boots etc. are available if needed.

FOOD HAMPERSThere are food hampers on site and available for those in need of food. This is a collaborative program with the local Sylvan Lake Food Bank.

INCOME TAX PROGRAM FOR SENIOR’S AND LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS

A Community Volunteer Income Tax program is offered free of charge to Senior’s, individuals and families in a low-income bracket. Tax packages are available in the front foyer of the office Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 4 pm. Completed taxes can be picked up in the foyer in 3-4 days.
